I'm sick and I hate being sick! Home remedies that work for you?
#1
Youngest daughter was very sick just before New Years.

Seems she was gracious enough to share.

Fever, chills, nausea, very painful coughing.

Any home remedies out there I can try tonight before I can schedule an appointment with the doc?

Lots of clear liquid, especially hot. Not coffee.
I start my "cold coming" day with a cup of Lasang Souchong and honey.
1000 mg of vit C every hour for a day or so, then 1000 twice a day.
Sleep.

Utilize ketamine while hanging upside down from your bondage room swing, but be sure to secure ankles
to thighs via long velcro straps before you pass out.

When you wake (Thursday) - you'll be stiff, but pain & symptom free, and can blame cold Iowa weather for it.
Think of excuse for arm bruising and syringe you inadvertently step upon, when you climb down.

Martha Stewart says that is what they used in prison infirmary (doc was former vet assistant) - for her
sinus infection. 4 days later it was gone.

On her website she said "It's a good thing."

(Remember... Martha Stewart is not a doctor. She is a former convict with several hundred million dollars. Therefore, who do you think you are disagreeing with her??)

Gypsy Cold Care Tea from Traditional Medicinals and Brandy.
You have to remember to go easy on the brandy but it works well in the hot tea.

Jimmypoo...

To the unwashed masses your methods might sound extreme,

Illegal.

But probably most effective at numbing the pain.

I'll stick with the tea, vitamins, Niquil and rest.
