I had the Performa 640 with the PC Card built-in.

It was essentially a completely separate computer, so I'd switch over to the PC Card to play DOOM while downloading via the 2400 baud modem on the Mac side.

Great for any DOS game you wanted to play!

I could never afford one, either. Kept buying versions of Virtual PC, first from Connectix, then Microsoft. It was always a dog. The switch to Intel and Parallels/Fusion was a great boon to those of us who needed to run Windoze on our Macs.

I've heard a couple/three podcasts where former employees stated that they personally knew of projects that were cancelled in a fit of pique because something and or someone ticked him off. A couple were alleged to have been cancelled because word was leaked.

Even a list of projects cancelled for purely practical business reasons would be interesting.

I think you're talking about that infamous "Asteroid" amongst other things...
