G5 running Leopard. I still use it as my main desktop. 2011 MBP 17" which is what I am using to type this post. The TiBook was awfully slick, still very contemporary in style.
When was the peak timeframe of your Apple love? Your apex.

Every time I have to use Windows.

I think the Pismo Powerbook was gorgeous, and even more svelte (for the time) than my Wallstreet PB.
I also think the multi-color iMacs were pretty impressive. To me at least, they were the first consumer-level computers that could act as a self-contained video-editing setup (that would actually work, and work well, right out of the box). Still diggin my 2012 Mac mini tho, too... Edit: on the other end, my PM 7500 (100 MHz!) was a horrible bag of hurt. I'd step out of my office to get coffee, and when I came back, it would have crashed - and it wasn't doing anything atp the time!

I think the G4 sunflower iMac was the sweetspot to me. I loved that design. I contemplated trying to shoehorn a Mac mini into the base to keep it alive.

I liked my Performa 640DOS - essentially two separate computers, so I could switch to the PC side and play DOOM or other fun games while waiting for the Mac to complete a download over dial-up.
In more modern times, my i5 13" MBP, running 10.6.8 of course. |
