My uncle said sulfacetamide helped with his. I was wondering if sulfur itself would be as good or better. Is the sulfur in a medicine potentiated or augmented to work better than the real thing?
Anyone have a good treatment for acne rosacea?

diluted peppermint oil can be highly effective.

sulfacetamide is a antibiotic and you really should have a dr or pharmacist check for contraindications for/with the cocktails of meds you may or may not already be taking

I know of no clinically validated treatment for formal rosacea with known mode of action.
I am a rosacea sufferer, developed almost overnight a few years ago. There are a few creams that can help in some cases, but how they work is a mystery. If you have acne, there are many other treatment options.

I've had it for 50 years. Many, many suggestions tried over the years (dietary and medication) but nothing really works so have now accepted that a red nose is me.
