I don't know how you stomach such "friends." I had to purge or sequester the ones who just couldn't help themselves when the crazy began to fester in their brain. I've reported several shared posts as the spam or hate message they truly are, and elected to "never see" posts by those they share. My feed's pretty clean now.

I'm moving away from FB as best I can. I browse but rarely engage any more.

I'm so lucky. The two or three people that I know on FB who support Trump are also the kind of people who hate to talk about politics on FB. So that works out fine.

Oh, I've befriended all sorts of crazies. Partially because I sit on various boards, and (mostly) because I like to know how and what the other side thinks.

My primary use of FB is to keep up with happenings around town and to follow music I like. I don't use it as a social platform to broadcast my family stuff hardly ever.

I only have a couple FB friends who are vocal Republicans. One is fairly unhinged and posts of lot of memes. The other is sane and about the only thing he's into is anti-socialist memes.

I don't mind if someone likes Trump. I just always feel like my side can win and if we do, then their impact on our lives are minimal.
