How conservative is the new SCOTUS nominee?

She couldn't name the 5 freedoms protected by the 1st amendment (she forgot the right to protest) ?? Sen. Sasse looked pretty embarrassed for her, I'm sure he wasn't expecting her to flub that one.

Couldn't recall if voter intimidation is illegal, forgot she voted absentee in 2016, can't say for sure if the president can change the date of the election...isn't taking notes or relying on notes, blank notepad in front of her.

Somebody called her the Sarah Palin of judicial nominations, maybe not that bad but she does have those vibes.

I think that's unfair to Sarah Palin. At least Sarah Palin was well coifed, I think ACB is in serious need of a decent salon treatment. (Sorry, I know that's incredibly petty of me to say, I'm just annoyed about this entire thing!)

I couldn't agree more.

I think ACB is pretty.

But being pretty is completely irrelevant and furthermore, I think she is pretty unqualified for the position.

(Yes, I'm just being silly and petty.)

Our chief weapon is surprise!... Surprise and fear... fear and surprise... Our two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency! Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and a solid Republican majority.

I do think she is conventionally physically attractive, which is part of OD's rigorous qualification process for his appointees and personal servants, but... her hair... it does seem to go everywhere, like a really bad case of split ends. Yes, petty, but it's what I notice when I look at her physicalities.

To me, she has creepy-doll eyes.

Again, that's unfair to the creepy dolls. Big Grin

But I do see what you mean. Here are some pics of the hair to which I was referring:
