Will Collier, did you order it via Alexa? When I did, it/she stated, "you'll get an exclusive savings of $20" (or words to that effect. Then she said it was in my cart for review, and if I wanted to buy it now, I could simply say that. Instead, I stopped talking to her, went to my computer, and looked in my cart. It was there, listed at $24.99, but when I clicked "Check Out," it showed the discount. I didn't actually purchase it yet, but plan to.

I did, and that cheap... AI... never said anything about a discount. No notice in my cart, either, just the full price unit.
When you go to check out, you should see that there's $20 bucks taken off the purchase on the verification-page right before you finalize it.

A Damn You Deal! except that I already have a few bargain smart plugs.

What I really, really want now, is a HomeKit compatible smart light dimmer switch (wall type).

Wemo switches haven't worked for me ever, while Kasa stuff works very well, but isn't HomeKit compatible.

Wemo has a second gen dimmer light switch I'll try, but confidence is way low.

Eve switches work but lack a dimmer.

Well, that was easy.

POMTL!

Not in my case, but my wife was able to order one that way.

I'm telling you, Alexa has it in for me. Must be all the times I've ordered her to open the pod bay doors...

Yep, that's how it worked for me & I didn't check out until six hours after I placed
the order via Alexa!
