Ah, just read the original thread, and the set I had years ago were Monsoons. Subwoofer died.

My set that I bought years ago, around when they were first released has an on/off switch on the back of the Sub. Can't see the back of the Sub in any of the pictures!

+1, If I needed a pair, I'd get them. I grabbed a pair of Presonus Erins (?) on sale to use with my desktop, don't have any issues with them either.

You can always add an in-line switch or just a power strip. I'm not in the market but I wouldn't let the lack of a switch sway my decision.

I finally saw this at Costco last week. The subwoofer is much smaller than the one that came with the set I purchased twenty years ago.

This makes me wish for the days of CompUSA when you could walk in and listen to a dozen different speaker systems with buttons to switch between them.
