You "have" to go against the cult in order to maintain sanity. Our side is filled with cults too. It's not just them.

Yeah. At this point in time, though, the hard right cults have taken over the machinery of the Republican Party whereas the far left cults don't have that level of influence in the Democratic Party.

That's true, legislatively. But when you do the full math and Biden secures the presidency by a mere 77,000 votes (via the Electoral College), you can see why the opposition spends so much energy and time trying to influence the peeling away of votes. It doesn't take a lot.
