More iOS18.1 mess - trying to connect IOT devices

I just setup a new matter-enabled IOT light switch.

All was straightforward except when I tried to use my iPhone running iOS18.1. There is a glitch, and I was unable to setup local wifi connectivity (an iOS security setting).

Went and borrowed my wife's iPhone running iOS17, all went great.

At least for iOS devices that cannot take advantage of Apple Intelligence.

I sure wish I could 'downgrade'.
