Oprah Picks "Pillars Of The Earth" For Book Club

I just finished it a few weeks ago. It was as long as the Harry Potter books. I would give it a b+. I am waiting a bit to start his new one.

I read "The Eye of the Needle" a long time ago. Never read any of his other stuff.

Pillars is one of my favorite books. I'm looking forwar to reading his latest sequel (sorta).

I rarely read novels (too much time here, I guess), but this is one I did get through. Had to restart a few times. Read some pages, put it down for a while, pick it up and read some more, put it down again, for several false starts but eventually got into it enough to keep plugging. Finally finished it and felt the time was well spent.
