Final Cut Xpress 4 Just Released. No BD burn Support :(

For all you mourning the loss of old school iMovie, FCP Xpress may help. It now supports the AVCHD codec. No BD burning support though (I thought BD support was going to be baked into 10.5, no?). They also ripped out Soundtrack, but GarageBand is pretty similar, so no big loss. especially since they cut the price $100. It's now $199 and upgrades are $99.

While similar, GB doesn't support video and the audio to video ability of Soundtrack, which is better suited to FC. Seems like a loss to me.
