"PPP surveyed 656 likely Republican voters in Mississippi and 600 likely Republican
primary voters in Alabama on March 10th and 11th. The margin of error for the
Mississippi poll is +/-3.8% and for the Alabama poll it’s +/-4.0%."

And exactly WHAT selection criteria did they use to develop this sample ? Looks like they called up the members of a bunch of fundamentalist churches, based on the other answers.

I hate these kind of 'press release ' 'polls'... Not presenting how the sample was selected is intellectually dishonest at best. At worst it's straight on lying.

But y'all can go ahead and make judgements about an entire region of the country based on unseen criteria.

I'll poll the entire population of the Northeast by talking to a couple of crazy homeless guys under a bridge in Cleveland. That'll get ya some interesting press releases too !

Sheesh.

RgrF.. you missed that I posted the final paragraph of the press release. Which is devoid of useful information when it comes to their selection criteria. Hence my rant.

And no, I'm not gonna email them.

RgrF... it's just a dump from their statistical program. There is NO discussion of how they developed their sample. Nothing.

I could also poll all xxx MRF members and conclude that "Personal Computer Users all over the world conclude that Windows Sucks". It would be a statistically accurate and intellectually dishonest result.

Lies. Damn Lies. And Statistics.

(Ed: I could also type coherently. Perhaps there's another poll result in there. iPad User's have poor word choices ! LolCat authors cannot spell ! etc...)
