A series of tragedies and a National Gun safety and education group turned into a lobbying group gone wild meeting.

Yeah, that's news.

The local one here is a great tragedy, a short distance from where my wife's aunt lives... a man murders his wife and shoots both of his twin 10 year old daughters, killing one and putting the other one in critical condition. And then commits suicide by police. What IS it about some people where they believe they are all 'better off dead' than divorced ? Where life is less sacred than 'ownership' ? Sad. Very sad.

It's the natural consequence of our "gun culture" forever enshrined in the second amendment, citizen. The unfettered right to bear arms comes with a high price tag.
