Touring Copenhagen by bike
#1
I always said if I could sneak a few extra days in Copenhagen prior/post vacation I'd want to rent a bike and get around.
When in Amsterdam last time we stopped at a bike rental place and they had some really nice maps with routes marked out so you're not criss-crossing working on a bucket list.
Save a lot of time / nights making your own route.
Well I'm in Copenhagen in September and I'm staying a few extra nights so I'm searching for self-guided bike route maps.

Searching google all I'm mostly finding is blke/gps rentals which, maybe that's the way to go.
I was going to rent a citybike but maybe that's not such a hot idea.
I've been to Amazon and B&N (bing got me a bunch of mackeeper crap, thanksalot bing ) and I'm just not finding anything printable/useable.
Closest I've found so far is: http://www.dac.dk/en/dac-life/tours/expl...your-bike/ which has a few pdf routes but I've seen a lot better ( for Amsterdam anyway )

Has anyone done this ?
Is the GPS/bike rental the way to go ?

I've already done the hopon hopoff bus / viatour and walking around ( too big to walk ) tourista things already in the past .
Staying at a hotel across from Tivoli so I'm right in town.

TIA

Here's a brief report on Copenhagen and CityBike - commercial rental might be the better option. Sounds like a blast though!

I didn't tour Copenhagen on a bike, but I did ride several places with a friend. It was great.
