Trump's excuse why his Tariff Man War on China will be an utter failure. It's someone else's fault!

Trump says China could wait until U.S. election for trade deal

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Friday that he would not be surprised if China held out until after the U.S. election in 2020 to secure a trade deal in the hope they could negotiate with a different U.S. president.

“I don’t think personally China would sign a deal if I had a 2% chance of losing the election,” Trump told reporters at the White House just days before top U.S. officials head to Shanghai for another round of negotiations.

“I think China would probably say: ‘Let’s wait. Let’s wait. Maybe Trump will lose and we can deal with another dope, or another stiff.’”

Hard to say what China thinks of 45. They don't like the tariffs but he is screwing up the world economy so they can work on pulling ahead of the US. If they wanted to poke Russia in the eye, they have 10 times as many hackers to work on fake accounts, sock puppets, and pay for skewed ads with dark money.

China seems to have this dope’s number and are playing him quite easily.

Exactly.

Now he and Boris are trying to yank France's chain with their threats of tariffs on French wine, giving us this brilliance:
"I've always liked American wines better than French wines, even though I don't drink wine."
