Anyone have any experience with this display? It's $289 after rebate regularly $360.

That's pretty nice, $299 plus tax out the out and only $10 MIR.

I have no idea if this is a good monitor or not but there is a huge CRT that will be gone for the non imaging machine in the house.

I have a 20" Dell and think it is wide enough. Any wider and I think it is counterproductive. I think next to Apple, Dell is the next best thing.

Well yah, but you can't touch a Dell 22" wide for $300, let alone an Apple. If you're not doing mission critical color management or Photoshop work, this is a more than acceptable solution for a large LCD. Those Amazon reviews are pretty promising. It'd make a really nice FCP preview monitor for me. Smile

Different bezel.

I've had good luck with their low end laptops.

1680 x 1050 makes it the same res as the old 20" Apple Cinema Display … if that helps.

Yeah, what's with that? Hardly any high resolution LCDs on the cheap. Apple's are great.
