How do they pick the actors for these "food" ads?

Overweight/obese characters to promote a restaurant or food product?
McDonalds, Checkers, BK, even Hellman's mayo...

Maybe it's me, but I see an ad with a clearly obese person/Peter Griffin clone
promoting the food product, I think unhealthy!

On the other hand, this one worked for me (& Tom)...
