I woke up confused and a bit cranky.

Monday doesn't help, but what can you do about that. Monday is Monday and that means back to work. So nothing really different there.

I put a pot of coffee on and used my KQED app to listen to NPR but turned it off because I get tired of the news. Got dressed, looked at my schedule of tasks and started to get stuff done. But I just didn't feel right. Something was wrong. I didn't feel my typical "optimism."

I got an alert that this youtube cat was informing folk "15 Obscure System Preferences You Should Know About." I watched it and it was freaking fantastic. He has another one about "How to Manage iCloud Storage." I'm like, dude, you da man.

But I still felt, off-kilter. I chose to postpone my tasks for a few hours and take a walk. That was refreshing, but I still felt a bit sullen.

When I walked into the house it suddenly struck me what was wrong.

The Dodger had lost last night to the Padres. They were leading 7-1 and the bullpen absolutely collapsed, which sent the game into extra innings and ultimately a crushing defeat.

Whomp Whomp.

I feel great now knowing it was nothing that had to do with me personally.

Check out this guy's "15 Obscure System Preferences" video. It's short. https://youtu.be/IesYt9MkALA

Buck up - Anthony Davis is back.

Celts lost 3 in a row and are going nowhere. Lakers Celts final is now a distant dream. On to baseball - seems Dodger fans are about ready to jettison Dave Roberts - fickle maybe?

That's your modern fan. Good thing management doesn't listen to them.

In the meantime non fickle LA ownership/management award the five greatest Lakers of all time trophies that omit Jerry West but include the guy she management use to sleep with (considering the size of NBA players, he must have been exceptional) fickle is as fickle does.

That's not what happened. The "All the Smoke" guys asked her to name her 5 greatest Lakers. She was not serious about it. She rattled off the first 5 names that came to her. You gotta watch the whole interview. She is the greatest owner in sports by leaps and bounds. There's nothing fickle about her or her father. https://youtu.be/axX9u_sax8s

Them 5 hour "come from way ahead, only to lose" games are tough on the psyche. Especially the way the Doggies pulled it off last night.... damn ESPN commentators jinxed us. Watched it w/ Baby Buzz for some father-son bonding time, but woulda liked it better if our Boys in Blue coulda held on tighter.

I feel much luckier when Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser are doing the job!!! We're so lucky to have Joe Davis cuz he's the best.
