Seems like 95% of men’s watches are 40mm or larger. That seems big to me. Is this a phase?
Are wristwatches really big now or what?

It’s a passing phase.
The next fashion is just starting to take off - going back to analog, wearing Baby Ben alarm clocks on the wrist. Seriously, though, this giant watch thing is really odd.

I have large wrists and hands - I've always worn large watches - Seiko early on, Omega for years, larger size Apple watches the last few years.

My wrists are small. My watches are small. Time flys by in smaller pieces for me.

It's little in the middle, but it got much glass.

I went larger for more pixels. This fad is likely to last me quite a few years based on the Fenix 3 I owned.

They’ve been too large for quite a while, but that is mostly for cheap “fashion” watches. Many quality watches will stick to about 40mm or so. Divers will naturally be a bit larger.
