Using iPad in full sunlight

I was very excited to buy the new OLED iPad Pro with matte screen. My previous iPad was near useless in sunshine. Today I can say the new iPad is very easy to read even at the beach in sunlight. Wahoo!

Does the matte screen reduce the sharpness of the display?

Just be careful all the Sol photons don't over heat the iPad.

I haven’t noticed a decrease in sharpness. What I have noticed is a decrease in fingerprints.

Great review - wondered if this glass was really worth the extra cost (because of the increased RAM cost that's involved). Can't really test drive this functionality at an Apple Store, either.

Don't really need 1GB+ of RAM anymore given "the cloud" and connectivity essentially "everywhere", but using an iPad outside has always been risky due to the glare and washout. Now to decide on just how much it's worth to be able to work anywhere outside and not have to be constantly on the lookout for a shady spot.
