Disable "Priority" messages to keep annoying spam and trivial cr@p from taking up the top of your screen in Apple Mail using the three dots menu on the upper-right.

...And for those who can't use "Apple Intelligence," don't fret. Siri is every bit as stupid and useless as before.

That's disappointing.

I had hopes and dreams.

Just loaded up on AI via my M1 iPad Pro.

Mail was faster to load in iOS18.1.

Will see if this forced Apple to fix the underlying 'rot' of their default email client.
