I love shooting birds in flight. Glad I have the D1H. Amazing AF. These were all shot with the Nikon 80-200 f2.8 with a Kenko 1.4 teleconverter. Wish I had a longer lens (working on it).

Nice, wowser, very nice.
i can never get them-I get too excited and miss. The occasional blue heron graces the river off my deck and i have yet to capture one with the camera. Good thing i don't own any guns. I'd be missing some toes. Where do geese hide their feet when they fly, anyway?

Any translators in the house? I clicked on this link for BIF (What are you looking at butthead?), but got birds instead!

BIF = birds in flight.
Glad to know folks like these shots. Funny. I typed 'PYCPM' into google to find out what this means. Guess what showed up? Top 2 or 3 hits was this thread. What does PYCPM mean?

PYCPM
guessing here: < Tell Vanna White I want to buy a vowel.

TYFPT, PYCPM = "Thank you for posting them, perhaps you can post more"
Since no one browsing titles would have a CLUE what "BIF" means unless they looked inside, from the example established in the original post, I assumed we, too, were free to communicate in mysterious cryptograms. Try it, it's fun! |
