I picked up two Macbook Pros today--one for me and one for my wife. So far, I really like mine. It took a while to install Leopard and migrate files from my G5. Very nice keyboard, and incredibly bright screen. This looks like a good buy.
Leopard seems very snappy, but I don't have a frame of reference here either.
Now I have to learn how to use the new features.

frame of reference should be your G5, odds are its tons faster =)

Double LEADER!
Leopard is much snappier than Tiger, on my C2D mini. And that's with just 1G RAM.

How 'bout them Hawkeyes?
Hey, you're going to really like your new MBP. Got one here in July for work and roadtrips, and it's worked flawlessly so far. Just installing Leopard right now… don't know if it'll affect things drastically, but hoping it will still be as fast as the dual 2.7 G5 at home.
