append to songs in itunes?

Is there an app or script that will let me append something like "live" to multiple song names in itunes? I can easily change the song names in the finder with ABFR but itunes just reverts them. So i figure I need to change them from within itunes.

Shift-click multiple songs within iTunes, command-i, change data field of your choice.

EDIT: Wont work for song TITLES, but other fields such as album or genre or comments will show LIVE designation.

The data that is displayed in iTunes is different than the information in the finder. iTunes uses the metadata tags. There is probably a plugin somewhere that would let you do what you want to do, or perhaps some 3rd part application.

yup. got that too. Although I'm sure there is one, there's such a dearth of itunes related scripts and stuff, i cannot seem to find one.

How many tracks we talking about? Possibly could of had them done by now. lol ; )

I know the frustration. I have spent many hours over the years re-tagging my media...tag by tag.

LOL! my crossword memory let me down! I think the word i was looking for was "surfeit" of itunes scripts...

thats where I looked. Didn't find those. I guess I didn't search for the right things. I'd found a couple others that sort of did what i wanted. So its all good.

As far as how many. I've done over a hundred so far. Definitely not something i'd like to do manually.
