A day after Apple updates the MacBook they update the MBP by offering the 2.6 ghz core2duo as a custom order option.

Unless something changed - the test units we ordered yesterday with the 2.6GHz option (same MacBook Pros, now 2.4GHz standard - 2.6GHz is the upgrade) reported 2-3 weeks for delivery.
