Actually, it's available Thursday night as well, according to the ad. If you REALLY want this monitor, I'd suggest getting it Thursday, in case they sell out. I think I'm going to go for the 24" Samsung at CC on Friday.

There will be a 24" Acer monitor for $280 at Office Depot on black friday. Not sure if any rebates will be involved though.


Anyone have experience on this vs. the $250 Soyo at OfficeMax? I'd like to buy two 24" monitors here soon and am having trouble deciding. The Samsung would be perfect without the $120 rebate...

I have the X241W Acer - nice, but not the top end glass. Crappy stand. Acer has a 3 year warranty IIRC.

The Soyo is supposed to have better glass, but shorter warranty, who knows brand.

I would recommend any decent 24" monitor - I love mine.

B&M is handy in case you get stuck/dead pixels - I don't have any on mine.

compare to Apple iMac & cinema displays.
