Death in the family - I'll be offline for a while

My girlfriend's second cousin passed away. He was only two years old. Things are a bit chaotic right now, hence this very late in the evening post from me. He may not have been family but that doesn't change the horror of the situation.

Robert, I'm sorry that you had to join them with your disheartening news.

I've learned that I don't have to be closely related to a person to share the common feeling of heartfelt loss.

Two years old! What a tragedy.

I hope that sharing your feelings with your friends on the forum helps with your emotions.

FWIW, please let your GF know that others share the feeling of loss through you.
