Classmates has finally moved out of the 80s!!

THIS IS DEFINITELY A SIGN OF LARGER CHANGE AHEAD!




(although whatever that one on the top is WEARING must certainly have belonged to June Cleaver)

The one on the bottom is sporting some serious trailer park hair. We call that Lynwood or Kent hair up in these parts. I would say Lakewood Hair, but I would get my ass kicked by a little old lady here.....

(I have nothing against trailer parks per se. My mom lives in a nice manufactured home in a retirement community with a lot of RVs. However, some of those RVs are worth close to 7 figures. Anyway, I refer to "trailer park" as a state of mind, and not a state of being)

I don't see where they came out of the 80s with those photos. That bottom hairdo IS the eighties. Anyhow, I had thought the photos in their ads were usually from the 60s.

btw... I kinda like that bottom one. Very progressive compared to where I am.

Dude! I zoomed in on that frappr map, and saw you scratching yourself, and then smell you finger...eeewwwwww!

Well, you see it all depends on YOU, the observer. All the hairstyles shown existed in the 1920's and beyond, and were popular in various spots. The bottom hair is more complex to attain, tho, and wasn't really popuwlearrr until the late 70's early 80's when hair chemicals eating your brain was 'tubular!' instead of 'gross !'.

I would prefer to see those spiffy B&W photos from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. IMHO, people using Classmates for info on school chums from the same decade are just stalkers...

Now me, I've completely lost touch with all my high school friends, and all of my college friends except two- my wife and my brother in law. I guess you could say I've moved on.

everyone is different. My closest friends I have known since I was in high school. 3 of the 4 live within a mile of me, and we all planned it that way.

and their hair is badly styled, and their mommas dress them funny.

I just stalk the ones on ClassMates at any school that look cute.

In fact... it's almost lunch time at the local elementary. Gotta run!
