5th gen Nano-- $129 . . .. when? Date: September 25, 2010 01:30AM |
The 8 GB is $99, the new gen has not hit the refurb store but retails at $179. I'm on the 3rd gen but decided I'll move up to the 5th gen and stay there until the lost features return in a future gen-- when the 16 GB drops from $149 to $129 in the refurb store. Been waiting and watching . . .
Pick a date for the first appearance of the 5th gen in the refurb store at $129 by tomorrow-- if you're right I'll buy you one . . .

I think the 5th generation is going to hold it's value for some time to come.
If you want one, I'd buy sooner while inventory is still decent.
Agree re: value, although I doubt the chain is going to go dry before refurb 6th gens push the 5th gen price down.
Unless Apple decides not to release any 6th gen 16-giggers into the refurb stream for some ungodly long amount of time.

What's the value on an unopened black 16 gig 5th generation nano? I've got one sitting here that I was thinking of selling.
Won it at a charity auction and not sure that I will use it. I've got an iPhone, iPad and 5th gen video iPod. Wife's got 2G Touch and iPhone. Both boys have Nanos.
I'm waiting to pay $129 shipped. Black is the color I would want.
