I know I did this about a year ago but cannot think which program I used. Now a friend has asked about joining a couple of home videos he took of a holiday so they are both on one disc. I believe these are completed videos i.e. two separate VIDEO_TS folders and it had to be done in two gos as he didn't have enough memory to do it all at once.

Clues anyone please?

I put them face to face in the microwave for about 6 seconds. That usually is plenty to fuse them. 8 seconds is even more thorough for twins.

DVD2ONEX will work for joining VIDEO_TS

Jimmypoo: Is that for real or a joke? If it's for real isn't there a problem with getting a true balance? Not that I need to join discs that way but just curious.

However, you must have the rotating plate in the microwave or else the discs will be heated unevenly and the tracking will be off when placed in the player. make sure that the tray is smooth, as the pebbled trays will cause the player to skip due to the pattern (refracts the laser). In addition, any longer than 8 seconds will cause bubbling. Again, not so good for quality of playback. Enjoy!
