Don't know. All I know is there's one more thing that didn't come in time.

I think it might be an iPod, but I don't want to spoil the surprise for myself.

My dad already hinted that he ordered it through amazon. I could just log on with his account name and check. But I don't feel the need to.

Well, my Apple gift came in late November. And I bought it. It was a 20" iSight iMac for my daughter. Now she and my son can do their stuff and leave my PowerMac to me. Which was REAL important the last week of November because I was finishing a DVD project that had a serious deadline.

They were using a beige G3 266 and a 7100/66 with a G3 card, respectively. OS9. Couldn't use them with their iPods. Could barely browse the www.

When I'm not in a project, I use my trusty Pismo, which leaves them each with a great machine. The 7100 is unplugged now. The beige G3 is still set up on the network, but it is powered off and stays that way essentially all the time.

My son heads off the college next fall, so we are waiting to buy him a new machine until we know for sure where he's going and until we know what's for sale at the time. Maybe it'll be a dual-core Yonah PowerBook... :-)

Don't ask who the bell's for, dude. It's you.

Stavs, those are the neatest looking cars. We have an old Lionel that was my husband's from when he was a kid. I think it is an O gauge, but I'm not sure. It has the burgundy colored Pennsylvania engine, IIRC. I hope that is right. I haven't looked at it in a while. Anyway, those are a great score!

It took me forever to find those. I kept seeing them on Redlight, but passed due to price and I didnt have a train. Last year the gf got me a train set so I scoured the net for months trying to find that Apple set. Apparently none of the train dealers put pix on their web site, which made it harder. They would go by lionel part #. I found a guy in Vegas who had the set for $89 brand new and I bit. Glad I didnt buy from RR!

Self leadering is odd, a bit like onanism but I guess I did this in a sense by announcing a Shuffle someone gave me.

So be it.
