How do I shut off e-mail notification of PM's?

I do not need more e-mail. Cannot find the switch.

Hmmmm,

Maybe time for a spam filter. Mine does a great job, its funny watching all those emergency alerts from the cia and fbi that can't get past a simple filter.

I believe it is the option "Enable email-notification as default" under Forum Settings. I've got mine on "NO" and I don't get emailed when someone sends me a PM.

I've got mine set to "no" also and I still get e-mail notifications of PMs. It just started after they changed over to the MAC server. I don't know if that is related or not, but before that, I didn't get them. HTH

You're right, rgG. I just sent a test PM to myself and got an email notification. So the option is "broken" it would seem. Can you report it or should I?

That option in settings is for "send replies to this thread to me via email". I just checked and that's what it does. I don't think there is a box for the PM notification it just started up.

Why don't you ask admin how to turn it off and see what they say. Please post a new thread with the answer. Thanks.
