A valuable lesson I learned a long time ago is think about what you are going to say before you say it. Once spoken, you can't take the words back.

Same thing applies with email or posting online. A lot of times I will type something; reread it and edit it before posting.

Sometimes after typing and then thinking about it; I delete it. You can't always get your point across or win every argument.

Yup, I, too, do a lot of "processing" in this little reply box. I don't have a clue how often that happens, but it seems tied to my mood so is more frequent during some periods than others.

only as of late - every so often.

Maybe 10% of what I type up I decide against. While it's helpful to give an issue some TIME and thought before posting, for me, I often have to actually "see" what my post would look like and sound as read. Sometimes I decide against the post because I just don't want to get in a hot and heavy discussion that likely isn't going to chgange other posters' minds; sometimes I realize that my mind has been changed

Somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 of the time I decide not to post what I've written. Usually it's because I really want to respond to something, but by the time I write it out, I realize I wouldn't be adding anything substantive to the conversation.

Man, it's another slow day today... we sure don't have much to do. Anyway, I like this forum...

I post about 95% of what I write. Try to add some good in some way, if I think I can. I usually take away more in learning than what I am able to give, I am sure.

Believe it or not, Suzanne, my last two no-posts were in reply to two of your posts . . . and it is sometimes not worth the post. You and I don't see eye to eye on several topics, but it is not something I am choosing to dwell on now. Sometimes you see the light, sometimes you don't . . . same here, I guess.

Anyway, Have a great evening . . . or, morning . . . depending on when you come back to this thread . . .
