A high school friend dj's a radio show from FL every Friday night (Ripper's Rarities--[s4.viastreaming.net]). I can't always listen live, so I want to record and listen at a later time. It plays through iTunes. How can I do this?

I have Wiretap Pro stand-alone. Always gets the job done. Is it still available for download somewhere?

Can't test on my iPad, but the d/l link on this page was working last year, [www.ambrosiasw.com].

You have to first install a trial of one of their other softwares. Doing so installs a .kext file needed for 10.5 and later. It's a file used by several Ambrosia things and will let the old Wiretap Pro work on a modern Mac.

It's also what I use.

The new Quicktime can do audio recording from iTunes---you will need the soundflower pref if you want to record it direct.

I think Rouge Amoeba's Radioshift is designed for internet radio recording.

If you have an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, you can use the app "TuneIn Radio" to do this.

I have tunein Pro on my iPhone, but unfortunately, it does not record streams very well. The stream I am interested in plays nicely, but when I try to record it, the recording goes along well for about the first 1/2 hour, and thereafter starts skipping and intermittently aborts. Have contacted the mfg and so far no response.
I understand that the app is subservient to the quality of the streams, but the fact that it plays correctly, but can't record seems to indicate to me there is a problem with the app.
