That's funny, and I just ordered a refurb iPad on Monday. Hah! I'm planning on selling it in June anyway after conference season is over. Even if I eat $100 or so, that's still pretty cheap to rent it for 3 months.

The new iPads aren't showing up on the site yet though...hrm. I wonder what the new pricing will be.

Ha, Ha. But, it still leaves the back of the iPad unprotected and easy to scratch. I like the original cover. These are cute, but the original one is very functional. Maybe they could just make it in leather and in COLORS!!!

I doubt it will be crippled. It's clear that "unlimited" data plans are gone and will disappear with attrition or eventual elimination. Once they are gone, there's no incentive to cripple a "personal hotspot," since you're paying for bandwidth either way.
