because the law wouldn't allow them to redefine what ingredients make up chocolate - they wanted to substitute lesser cost/quality ingredients
i'm gonna stick with Cadbury... and i'm from PA.

Ripping the entire line of Hershey is a bit unfair. They make various types of bars. The more you pay, the better it is generally (shocker). If you just want to be a cheapass and buy the standard Hershey bar, then yeah, it's not the best. As mentioned, worse bars can still be found even then.
Forgot to add this: If you were thinking of replacing your chocolate with some slaughtered cow, that too is not looking good (unless you're one of the cows).

This discussion came up at our house not too long ago, and I realized that if I had to permanently choose between chocolate and meat, I'd choose chocolate.

Now that the temps are moderating a bit, I suggest spending more time in the garage away from said she-devils.

yeah, well... i don't care for the way Hershey wanted to redefine "chocolate" so they could cut costs & charge the same amount.

They spilled 2 gallons of chocolate on the patio at a wedding here last weekend. Presumably from one of those chocolate fountain thingies.

I wish the Ivory Coast the best.... but I still want my Hershey dividend checks!
more than 300 consecutive profitable quarters... right through the great depression, world war, recessions, etc... Hershey just keeps making money.

I like Aldi's chocolate, it comes from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Excellent quality and value.
