Hi gang, I just want to set up my scanner but the process to even get the drivers is a pain in the ass. My cd doesn't work and I actually think it's an issue with cd/dvd drive on my MBP. So, while I'm waiting for Fujitsu to get back to me for a link to the drivers, I thought I would ask.

If anyone has the .DMG file for the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 on their hard drive, it would be great if you could upload it DropBox so I could grab it. Much appreciated folks...

Can't help with the drivers, but in a pinch, you might try VueScan and see if they support the ScanSnap S1300 (and if you're willing to pony up for VueScan, of course...).

Hope this helps as a "backup plan" to having someone with the correct drivers!

anonymouse1, those drivers still only support a few models and not the S1300. I don't know what it is about Fujitsu keeping their drivers under lock and key. You actually have to download and complete a Driver Request form in order to get access to a website with drivers: [www.fujitsu.com].

Heh. Maybe if you look on the UK site.

Remember when you had to pay for UMAX drivers? But if you went to the UK UMAX site they had them for free.
