I was really looking forward to the Game Show Marathon on CBS or NBC, I forget which. Anyway, I've watched every episode so far, and I am not impressed. Ricki Lake is a terrible game show host, always yelling and moving her arms and acting like a giddy schoolgirl. The stars they selected dont seem to be taking it very seriously. They ruined Price is Right, and they murdered Press Your Luck. Leslie Neilsen was acting like a damn nursing home reject, and Kathy Najimi was trying to be funny but failed. At one point in the first episode they showed Adam Carolla with a sour @#$%& on his face get up and leave-he must have been as disgusted as I was. Its a damn shame. Hopefully they wont screw up card sharks!

For a game show it was gernerally clever, witty, spontaneous and often had great panelists. And good manners were the rule of the day.

Runs in the wee hours of Sunday on Game Show Network. Why somebody doesn't start a nostalgia channel with shows like this one, there were only a few, plus the Steve Allen Show, Ernie Kovacs, etc. is beyond me.

I guess I'm also beyond the coveted demographic as well. Back to my cave...

I want reruns of the Wheel of Furtune where they go shopping. Bring on the Dalmation Statue!!!
