Quirky, the social product development site, recently started shipping the Pivot Power. The device is essentially a power strip that addresses the issue of power adapters in all shapes and sizes.

The Pivot Power was created by Jake Zien as a re-imagination of the conventional surge protector. The power strip has a couple pivot points, which can change the shape of the device from a ring, s-shape, and a couple options between. The Pivot Power also has a bit of a unique appearance with white with large blue round plugs.

Other than that, the Pivot Power is basically a power strip. It also has an on/off switch and of course functions as a surge protector.

The Pivot Power is shipping now for $29.99.

I just use those really short extension cords... they're like 6" long, to connect power adapters to a regular power strip connected to my UPS. I think I got 3 for like $5 and free shipping.

You must have missed the Power Squid mini-cult. A bit of AC Calimari is SO much better !

Plug a squid into a Pivot Power & feel the earth shift on its axis.
