CL problem. How should I handle this?

Back in March of this year I sold my MS Office 2003 to a guy in CA for $25 minus the shipping/handling charge. The listing specifically said that there was no install CD, and that I was only selling install CD code with the accompanying Business Manager CD. We agreed and the transaction was done via email, USPO and PayPal. Two hours ago I received an email from him asking for the install CD. WTH?!! How should I handle this? This was my first CL sale.

It wouldn't be wrong to ignore it. But you could reply with a copy of the ad text, and any subsequent emails, that supports your position. Sometimes buyers are actually dumb. Not much you can do about that beyond the disclaimers you originally provided. I might offer a different perspective on this after I've had my morning coffee, but I doubt it.

Hey it's Craigslist are they going to do to you ? It's been since Mar.
I doubt they would even have a leg to stand on if had been eBay.

Seriously?

That reminds me, I bought a Mac IIsi back in 1992. Maybe I can return it to CompUSA and get my $2000 back too.

I had thought of ignoring the email as well but to avoid any legal ramification I wanted to first check with the forum "experts" ;)
