TIA

Holding down <Option> or X on startup doesn't work?

Nope, the old tricks still keep it booting into XP

Achh! Reformatted and started over. I’m trying to Slipstream my XP Pro SP1, but it’s not working. I’m just going to get XP Home SP2 from NewEgg. Cest la vie.

I bet that Gates and Jobs made a deal.

BootCamp would require XP with the SP 2 (in other words -- BUY A NEW Winduds software box from us, you hateful scum MAC USERS!) - and in return, Steve could bash Winduds users endlessly (like those dumb commercials out right now) and still be sure that Office for CoreDuo was forthcoming.

All of us who want to dual boot because of work, etc., will be feeding M$ just like the rest of the lemmings. And we won't be using it anywhere near as much as the turd who pays for it and actually uses it (or gets it already installed on a $399 computer), while we pay $199 for the Pro version and get nothing but a DVD.

alt/ option probably would have worked, but I was a tad hasty and just did a do-over. Not a big loss as I’m intimately familiar with my abilities and don’t transfer over a lot of data until I’m sure I’ve finished breaking things.

You don't have to pay m$ for a new SP2 disc, I'm sure there are some 'out there'.

The inability to boot back into OS X is a common problem.

OMG! Windoze prevents macs from booting OSX!

I wonder if McAfee or other virus company will put out a 'fix' for the WinXP trojan horse?
