Has anyone managed to print labels/postage from their website?

It lists only IE or Netscape (does that even still exist?) as compatible on mac, I thought I Googled a USPS FAQ the other day that recommended FF for mac, since Safari was not currently working.

FF works. Chrome has been hit or miss.

Neither way works great - I generally have to download the label, and rename it to include PDF at the end so then I can print it.

those sys requirements are YEARS out of date. I have printed at USPS.com (either FF or safari - can't remember which), but paypal is easier if you have a paypal account.

I do them all the time using FF or Chrome. I do have to go to the download folder to find them to print. It's not seamless but ok.

I use safari all the time for USPS labels as well...

I have no problem printing USPS Click-n-Ship labels in Safari.

i can never remember which browser works but it always seems like only either firefox or safari works.

I use USPS for priority mail stuff. paypal shipping link provides more shipping choices including media mail.

All I know is that so far, the Print Sample Label- Domestic or Int'l, does nothing for me from FF, and downloads nothing in my download folder.

I can't use paypal, as this is for an eBay sale where the buyer's address shows in Chinese characters (he emailed me the English transl).

The usual online Murphy's law for me, again.

In both PayPal shipping and eBay shipping you should be able to edit the mailing address in the process of buying the mailing label. There will be an intermediate screen where you can edit the mailing address before paying.

The USPS print sample label also worked for me. I have FF set to ask were to put downloads, so I directed it specifically. I had to edit off all the stuff after .pdf to get the sample to open/print properly.

I just did an international Express shipment and got zilch in Firefox until I turned off the popup blocker, then it was fine.

Works in Camino

I occasionally have printing problems in Chrome but it is due to Chrome working out their page preview feature. I'm also on the dev build so the untested stuff is always pushed out. Then I just switch to safari to print that one page.

You can still use Paypal for this label. Here's the link: [www.paypal.com]

That works for ANY Paypal-paid postage label, even non-ebay. I use it all the time for personal shipments as well as ebay.

In order for the print dialogue to come up automatically as claimed on the site, I have to use Safari. Just went through this two nights ago (Heads up jdc/)
Firefox doesn't work.
I ran into the same problem last night trying to print from Live Nation (tickets.) Had to switch to Safari. It apparently uses the same process.
I never ever launch Safari for anything else.



Answer- works as intended in Safari, doesn't work as intended in Firefox, no idea about any others.

Interesting - I had the opposite result - works in FF, not in Safari. This started back when both were on version 3. My FF is now on 4, and I don't use Safari anymore.

I do think a large part of the problem is how the browser is set to handle popups.

Been the same for me in FF 3, 4, 5, and 6 (in other words, over the course of 6 months )
I don't currently have pop-up windows blocked on Firefox.
