do you find www.fixya.com useful or not?

whenever I try to find a solution to a problem (right now I am looking into a defective M10), I come across this web site... I never found anything useful in there.

I wish you could leverage Google's vast store of personal data on you to have these "answer" sites automatically blocked no matter which computer you google from . . .

how do you do that? do you exclude those sites in an advanced search or is there a way to block certain sites for all your searches?

WTF??? I put fixya.com on the blocked list, yet I see some fixya.com when I search for something

It does not seem to be a complete block, but I do see a lot fewer results connected to the blocked sites. I used to get almost all the first page or two of results being links to these useless sites.

Sometimes theses sites will have more than one name.

For example, I have both of sites blocked.

wiki.answers.com

www.answers.com


They're really the same thing.
