How do I record this voice mail to mp3?

A consumer left a wonderful message on our company voice mail. Nobody seems to know a direct way to save it to disk, but I need to record it somehow and share it with buyer at the supermarket chain.

I was thinking to let my speakerphone play it loud and let my PowerBook's internal mike record it. Any better suggestions?

If it's acessable by cell phone(The VM system) and you have a nokia or Sony Ericsson, you could use that to record it, then Bluetooth it over to a mac.

Just because it has two clutches, shifts faster, uses a torque converter or has near-infinite gear ratios, requires less driver intervention and is more efficient doesn't make it better in my opinion.

.

You may be able to record the 'conversation' with your e815.

Transferring would have to be done over the card or the cable.

Do any of your phones have a minijack for a headset? If so, you may be able to record using the jack.

I have a device sold by Bellsouth for recording calls (works with emails as well). It connects to the phone in between the handset and the base. It has a minijack output to go into a mike input in a pc or tape recorder. It comes with pc only software. However, you can use audio hijack to record from it.

The device is a disc about 2 inches in diameter and maybe an inch thick. It has a rj-11 and miniplug cable coming out of it and an rj-11 jack built in. Works great. I believe that I bought it from Smarthome, but can't find it on the website.

This should work:

Doesn't this lead to the logical question of which (if any) email system/service allows file management? So, mp3s can be sent to any computer, etc.
