Name Some Movies That You Enjoy, And Can Easily Watch More Than Once

Time for a good 'ol fashioned movie thread. As the title states, name some names!

I just watched Forrest Gump again the other day and had a blast! What a great movie! I have probably watched it at least a half dozen times, and never get tired of it.

"GUMP!!! WHY DID YOU PUT THAT WEAPON TOGETHER SO QUICKLY, GUMP?"

The Shankshaw Redemption, which came out the same year (and should have won best picture instead) holds that spot for me. Gump, I watched once, enjoyed, and nothing stuck. Shankshaw is durable, ended up on a lot of "Best" lists.

I have a soft spot for a few other movies that, I can't say they're good, but for some quirky reason, are watchable again and again.

Notting Hill (chick movie, I know, what can I say)

Phenomenon (Travolta, good story)

The Professional (early Natalie Portman, great movie)

there's more, but it would reveal how corny my taste is..ha

There are very few movies that I've wanted to watch more than once. Princess Bride, Last of the Mohicans (Daniel Day), and Sirens (Hugh Grant) are a few that I can think of right off the bat.

My recommendation for a movie that gets better on subsequent viewings:

Wall-E

Most classic Bill Murray movies are fun and good for multiple viewings.

Groundhog Day (ha!)

Ghostbusters

Casino Royale, the 60's version.

Tapeheads

Blazing Saddles

Of course, the holiday classics:

It's A Wonderful Life, Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, and many, many more.

The Hunt for Red October - even though I have it on DVD, whenever it's on TV, I end up watching some of it.

Star Wars (the original trilogy) - just watched them with my 8yo. Loved seeing his face when Darth Vader tells Luke that he is his father in Empire.

The Godfather 1 & 2 - only saw #3 once and didn't even need to see that.

Dazed and Confused

... just a start.

Most I can think of have already been posted...

Any Star Wars (yes.. even I, II, and III, flawed they may be.)
Lord of the Rings (any of them)
Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. (I can turn the other two off)
Saving Private Ryan
The Band of Brothers HBO Miniseries
Alien
Aliens
Independence Day
Groundhog Day
Blazing Saddles
The Princess Bride
Galaxy Quest
My Cousin Vinny (Freakin' love that movie...)
Star Trek II, III, IV, Generations, or First Contact.
Conan the Barbarian (the original) - a guilty pleasure... Shakespeare it ain't.

Now that someone mentioned it, Forest Gump... though I haven't seen it too many times.

The original Highlander used to be on the list, but I think I wore it out...

Fifth Element
12 Monkeys
Time Bandits
Blazing Saddles
Ratatouille
Iron Giant
Fargo
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
12 Angry Men (The Sidney Lumet version)
Serenity
Pink Floyd: The Wall

Mister Roberts
The Longest Day (worth watching at least once a year.)
Evil Dead II
Big Lebowsky

TV shows that I would probably enjoy watching a few more times on DVD this year include Black Adder II, West Wing, Studio 60, Wonderfalls, Red Dwarf and Farscape.

And I could leave FLCL looping for a few days. Top o' the heap if you're into anime.
