The other problem is that some people would feel the need to travel with an extension cord to replace the Mac's A.C. cord. Which sort of negates the advantages of not having another device to keep up with.

Still, cute idea.

I have the same Belkin plug thingy; worked great on a few recent trips. Of course, I need more like a six USB hub to charge the family's gadgetry.

Re/the 10 watt thing; that's what the iPad need to charge properly, or so I've been told.

The Belkin device is great and has been on sale recently for around $10.

It might be, being able to charge at 10W. Saves having to carry around an additional charger for an iPad.

I have 3 of these. Typically $11-14 at Amazon.

They're great, but I can confirm that the USB will not charge an iPad.
