Bought a 2.0 dual that took a shot to the case. Works great..bottom flange-ish that connects to the leg has popped a few rivets. I bent everything back nicely with several clamps and a bit of wonder bar hoopla...still doesn't want to sit flat.

Im thinking, really intense glue, it'll look like new.

Gots to be able to hold a bit of pressure as this flange-ish, wants to pop away from the case about a 1/4 inch.

Thanks..if this doesn't work i go to careful drilling and a sheet metal screw countersunk. Somebody-ish??

No glue.

Drill a couple of small holes and rivet.

Welds are glue for aluminum. Perhaps try JB Weld...

Done deal,,,was considering some gorilla glue..poly, water cured, great stuff. Ended up going the rivet route. Got the rivet gun out and drilled some holes, carefully, presto. Now i have rivets on my nice alum g5 case. MacMagus gets a round of applause because it worked well, and, an ass kicking cause my case has rivets on it's clean, sleek skin. no worries...it's lower right rear and hidden. great deal on the g5 dual 2.0 with scar. Rules!!!

I like the rivet solution a lot better than any glue. With alum., Gorilla glue is useless, and so is most everything else. The best is slightly roughed up surfaces and good old cyanoacrylate -- super glue.
