Good eBay scam: Auction linked

Looks legit, until you notice all feedback is over a few weeks and for $0.01 piece. Someone’s losing a couple grand on this one.

Sorry man, didn't mean to spoil your chances (^_^)...it looks like they pulled the auction. I wonder when it began? When I emailed them several hours ago, they had a disclaimer that said that it might take them up to 24 hours to review the complaint, so I was afraid that they wouldn't get to it in time.

I received the same email. It does emphasize the need to not only critique the auction and the seller’s feedback, but also what that feedback is. You’d be surprised how many times I’ve checked on an item only to find the seller had previously purchased it on eBay and left the original seller negative feedback for a poor item. I’ve seen sellers push “authentic” items that they had previously declared counterfeit via their own feedback.

Glad they pulled it. You saved someone 3 grand.

Do a search for Macromedia and check out how few auctions for Macromedia software are selling actual software. Tha majority are selling a serial number. One seller claims his auction doesn't break eBay's rules because he isn't selling software, just a serial number…

Check out this clown's feedback. Look at the few auctions in his feedback that aren't private.

This particular scam just goes on and on.
