I have neighbors like that. I never knew there was such a thing as Hispanic hip hop, but there is. It's very annoying at 3 a.m.

Try Mexican Polka music at 4AM.

I knocked on their door at 3 a.m. Christmas morning and asked them nicely to turn it down but no dice.

A friend offered to lend me his brand new Klipsch iFi speakers and if they try it again on New Year's Eve I'm blasting "Also Sprach Zarathrustra" at 8 a.m. on New Year's Day. Maybe follow that up with Toccata and Fugue in D minor.

I had some neighbors a while back with a huge home theater system with the back speakers against my wall. you've got it, car crashes that sounded likethey were right in my apt. on grammy and oscar night, i turned down my tv and had surround sound from theirs. I had a pair of klipsch heresy's with a huge old school yamaha natural sound amp cranked. didn't do a think so i banged on the wall so hard that i cracked my wall and knocked stuff off of their wall. so then an argument ensued out in the hallway. that apt was hell. and this was an old couple, the guy taught college english.

Seriously ya'll, if it's too loud, I'll load up my gear... 3600 watts of mobile dj sound in a small package. Single 18" LFE, 2 Peavey 215 mains. I have no problems with neighbors, they've both moved out. Vacants on either side! ;)

Whatever happened to quiet hours after 10:00 P.M.? During college years, I couldn't get any sleep at my S/O apt because her neighbors always had a drinking and loud Mexican folk music playing from 6 P.M. until 5:00 A.M.
Where we live now the neigbors live 1.5 away would leave note asking permission to have a loud party up until 11:00 P.M.

I have to second the Diamanda Galás rec. That ought to scare the living crap out of 'em!

I used Diamanda Galas against my neighbors. It had no effect on them but drove me crazy.
